Building Financial Insight Since 2019

We started DataFluxHub because the investment analysis landscape in the Philippines needed something different. Not flashier tools or bigger promises, just better ways to understand market movements and risk factors.

Six years later, we're still focused on that same goal—helping professionals make sense of complex financial data without the noise.

How We Got Here

Back in 2019, our founder Vernon was working with institutional investors who kept running into the same problem. The available training focused too much on theory and not enough on the messy reality of Philippine markets.

So he started holding small workshops in Quezon City, teaching practical analysis methods that actually worked with local market conditions. Word spread. Those workshops turned into courses, and eventually into what we are today.

We're not trying to revolutionize finance education. We're just trying to make it more useful for people who actually work in the field.

People Behind the Analysis

Our team includes folks who've worked in asset management, risk assessment, and portfolio strategy across Southeast Asia. They bring real experience from the markets they teach about.

Vernon Castillo, Lead Instructor

Vernon Castillo

Lead Instructor

Spent fifteen years analyzing equities for fund managers in Manila before starting DataFluxHub. Still thinks the best learning happens when students question everything—including his methods.

Rodrigo Mendez, Risk Analysis Specialist

Rodrigo Mendez

Risk Analysis Specialist

Previously managed risk frameworks for regional banks. Joined us in 2021 because he wanted to teach people how to spot problems before they become disasters. Known for turning complex risk models into plain language.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We built our programs around what actually helps professionals improve their analysis work. That means less theory, more application, and plenty of room for questions.

Market-Specific Context

Philippine markets have their own patterns and quirks. We teach analysis methods that account for local factors like family conglomerates, regulatory environments, and regional economic dynamics that textbooks usually ignore.

Working With Real Data

Every course includes hands-on work with actual market data from PSE and regional exchanges. Students practice on the same messy, incomplete datasets they'll encounter in their jobs—not cleaned-up academic examples.

Continuous Skill Development

Markets change, so our curriculum does too. We update course content quarterly based on current conditions and feedback from working professionals. What worked in 2023 might need adjustment for 2025 markets.
